| Re-Ax: Reactive Concrete Stain for Concrete, Masonry, Stucco, Mortar, Grout, & Cement Surfaces (1 GAL Bottle) - Similar to Acid Stain w/o Need to Neutralize

Re-Ax stains are unique metallic-based formulations which penetrate and chemically react with various silicates and components found in cured concrete or other cement based substrates, and then form new colored crystalline components. They contain no light sensitive dyes or additives and can be used in interior or exterior applications with a few exceptions. These stains will penetrate the cement surface and the subsequent reaction forms new insoluble chemical crystals that permanently color the concrete in a wide range of mottled earth tones. Re-Ax stains can be used for decorative concrete including flatwork, stamped and textured concrete, concrete masonry units, stucco, mortar, grout, and most other portland cement based surfaces. If using in conjunction with acid stains, acids must be done first and completely cleaned and neutralized prior to using Re-Ax. Because this product is a unique chemical stain, the results can vary from color to color. Some colors will work more intensely that others. All colors should be tested on the surface before undertaking the project. Make sure the surface is not dry and hot. If so, bring it to a condition of damp dry prior to starting. Stain should be put on liberally, not lightly. It soaks in and the color will be less intense if applied light.

• Gray-brown, dusty cocoa color. Contain no light sensitive dyes or additives. Can be used in interior or exterior applications with few exceptions.
• Unique, metallic salt-based formulations that are non-acidic & work by reacting with various components in & on the concrete surface. They produce a widely varied, mottled surface that is PERMANENT, so it cannot be wiped off or removed like a water-based stain.
• Effects are similar to that of an acid stain but without the extensive cleanup of that process. Simply spray on the Re-Ax, work it in with a broom (optional), wait a few hours for the color change, & seal it up. You could not have an easier process & there's NO NEED TO NEUTRALIZE LIKE ACID STAINS.
• Re-Ax leaves the ultimate natural color with the most mottling and variation of any stain. They’re best for creating the "Old World" look on your project.
• Coverage is approximately 250 sq feet per gallon, depending on porosity.
